In 2023, total revenue reached 8.243 billion yuan, with net profit attributable to shareholders of 358 million yuan, up 2.34%; non-GAAP net profit was 262 million yuan, up 131.60%. IV. Supply Chain Structure
Liaoning pharmaceutical manufacturing's upstream layer consists of chemical APIs and intermediates. Northeast Pharmaceutical's anchoring role in this segment is well established, and its designation as a national intelligent manufacturing demonstration factory for bulk APIs signals the industry's push toward digital production in the chemical-pharmaceutical subsector.
The mid-layer covers drug formulation, spanning chemical generics, biologics, and traditional Chinese medicines in three parallel product streams. Benxi's research infrastructure — including campuses of Shenyang Pharmaceutical University and the Liaoning Research Institute of Chinese Medicine located within the high-tech zone — creates an R&D-to-production ecosystem.
Downstream, Liaoning has a well-developed pharmaceutical distribution network, serving as a regional logistics hub for pharmaceutical goods across Jilin and Heilongjiang as well.
